Yes! Branchline works on both public and private GitHub repositories. You'll need to grant the extension permission to access your private repos, but all processing is done securely and your code remains confidential.
Branchline supports all programming languages that GitHub supports. The AI is trained on a wide variety of languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, Rust, and many more.
Usage is counted per AI generation action (summary, review, or diff explanation). The free plan includes a generous monthly limit, while Pro offers unlimited generations.
